It starts its fully signposted course in Brittany and runs south along the Atlantic shoreline to the magnificent Basque coast in the south.

The Vélodyssée is made up of various different signed road types including greenways, cycle paths and small country lanes. In short, everything you need for a safe, fun and friendly cycle ride through a range of different landscapes and at your own pace. What is more, you’ll find the route fully signposted along its entire length whether you're travelling north or south.

Ce parcours est soigneusement sécurisé et balisé pour vous garantir une expérience sans souci. Il offre à chacun l'opportunité de vivre de magnifiques et longues balades en toute sécurité. L'itinéraire de la Vélodyssée emprunte différents types de voies balisées, comprenant des voies vertes, des pistes cyclables et d'autres routes à circulation réduite. C’est 80 % de l’itinéraire total qui se réalise sur des voies sans voiture. Ces voies vous garantissent des promenades conviviales dans des environnements variés. Vous pouvez pédaler en toute tranquillité et à votre propre cadence. De plus, des panneaux indicateurs ponctuent l'intégralité de l'itinéraire pour vous guider tout au long de votre aventure, que vous choisissiez de partir du nord vers le sud ou du sud vers le nord.
