Brittany’s typical fishing ports and villages
After a walk in the bracing sea air from your campsite in Brittany, take the time to enjoy a drink in a lively port café, watch the boats coming into anchor and perhaps stroll down to the fish market to watch the night’s catch being sold off. With a 2800km coastline stretching from Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy in the north to Loire-Atlantique in the south, the Breton peninsula juts out fearlessly into the Atlantic Ocean. Beloved of nature lovers and serious walkers alike, Brittany offers a wealth of coastal paths that will guide you along the Emerald Coast, the Pink Granite Coast, through the ‘Breton Cornwall’ to the Gulf of Morbihan in South Brittany, providing stunning scenery along the way.

Inland, Brittany is criss-crossed by a network of walking and cycling paths that offer the ideal way of exploring the ‘enchanted’ Brocéliande Forest or the mysterious landscapes of the Monts d’Arrée.
