Some of our eco-friendly campsites have developed specific initiatives to protect biodiversity. We are proud of them and strongly support their efforts.
Flower Campings are nature campsites set in unspoilt natural areas. Every player, large or small, has a crucial role to play for the vast array of species that inhabit these environments. Biodiversity, this complex network of interconnected life, is the backdrop to life as we know it. From the bee that pollinates flowers to the earthworm that feeds the soil, every creature plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance. By preserving biodiversity, we not only ensure the survival of species, but we also secure our own future.

Leur contribution à l'équilibre naturel est précieuse, alors toutes les initiatives visant à les protéger sont importantes. Dans leur mission pour protéger la biodiversité, certains de nos campings labellisés Clef Verte ont installé des hôtels à insectes. De quoi leur offrir du glamping écologique ! Ces petites demeures accueillantes offrent un havre de paix, un refuge, à une foule d'insectes bénéfiques, qui travaillent en coulisses pour maintenir l'équilibre écologique. Chaque hôtel à insectes a son propre style, des chambres douillettes aux aires de détente chic. Vous pourrez observer ces locataires à six pattes vaquer à leurs occupations tout en contribuant à l'harmonie de l'écosystème. Sous nos pieds, un monde de biodiversité se cache. Les vers de terre, les micro-organismes et les petites créatures du sol sont des héros méconnus de la nature, et notre engagement envers eux se traduit par des sols sains et une atmosphère globale plus équilibrée. Nos campings prennent alors soin de favoriser la biodiversité des sols en encourageant la croissance naturelle de plantes et en limitant l'utilisation de produits chimiques.
Mais Gil, au camping de l’Olivigne à Bize-Minervois dans l’Aude, a choisi de renforcer son engagement envers la biodiversité en développant un jardin autonome et naturel. Pour cela, il a introduit des plantes endémiques et des arbres adaptés au climat et donc peu demandeurs d’eau. Cette mini-forêt, plus la création d’un ruisseau en circuit fermé ont permis de revitaliser les sols avec de l’humus. La récompense ? Le retour des papillons et insectes, témoins de la bonne santé des sols.
