Stay in Carnac, discover a unique heritage
While enjoying one of our campsites with an indoor swimming pool, spend your days exploring the Carnac megaliths. These were erected so far back in prehistory that they're shrouded in mystery. Nobody knows just why our ancestors dedicated so much time to these standing stones. Read the local legends and allow yourself to be captivated by these ancient monuments. Visit the Ménec, Kermario or Kerlescan Stones and marvel at the works of early man. Head into the maritime forest to see the groups of small menhirs that form "the Quadrilateral of Manio". This is just the start: as you continue through the trail, you'll find "the Giant of Manio", an enormous menhir that stretches more than 6 m high.
