Set amid abandoned truffle fields and century-old oaks in the southern Drôme, the campsite is a haven of peace complete with heated swimming pool and large, shady pitches. Hiring a bike on site is a great way to explore the local Grignan countryside and its stunning lavender fields. The Enclave des Papes region is home to a number of lovely hilltop villages and chateaux including Adhémar-Montélimar, Suze-la-Rousse, La Garde-Adhémar, Vinsobres, Valréas and Nyons – all well worth a visit.
