Located in the heart of the Périgord Noir, near Lascaux, the campsite's location is ideal for visiting nearby tourist sites or trying our some of the region's best sporting activities. Let the old castles of yesteryear inspire your imagination, fall in love with charming traditional villages and explore the caves of Lascaux. All of these come together to make up the rich, glorious splendour of the Dordogne. Our campsite is located at the top of a small hill, on a natural green area of 42 hectares with hiking trails. It boasts unobstructed views, giving you a magnificent panorama over the surrounding area. You'll be spoiled for choice when it comes to your accommodation, from pitches for tents to fully-equipped chalets or canvas bungalows.

The Rouffignac cave is located 10 minutes from the campsite. It is also called "The cave of 100 Mammoths", thanks to the numerous prehistoric engravings and cave paintings. Ideal for a family day out, it can be explored through guided visits on small trains.

With its remarkable reproduction of the original Lascaux Cave, and its cutting-edge technological exhibits, Lascaux IV offers an unforgettable trip for all the family. Located in Montignac, 25 minutes from the campsite, this is one of the region's must-sees!
Walking/cycling route
The village of Rouffignac offers 4 circuits for mountain biking. These start form the Sports Complex, which is less than 2 km from the campsite. Varied and exciting, these trails have all different types of terrain to keep you entertained as you explore the nature and heritage of the Rouffignac region. There are also 5 walking loops to discover. All their starting points and routes are shown on an informative panel located in the square opposite the Town Hall, which is also less than 2 km from the campsite.
Driving route
Take a circuit of the Dordogne's towns that have been officially designated as some of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. From the campsite, you'll find that the Périgord country roads cross 9 of the Dordogne's 10 Most Beautiful Villages in France: Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, Limeuil, Belvès, Montpazier, Domme, la Roque-Gageac, Castelnaud, Beynac and Saint-Amand-de-Coly.
