Set in the heart of one of Périgord Noir’s most beautiful woodland, the campsite is ideally situated for visiting some of France’s most beautiful villages including La Roque-Gageac, Domme, Beynac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vérère and La-Chapelle-Aubareil. Take a stroll around one of the local châteaux, explore the stunning medieval town of Sarlat and admire its beautiful stone buildings, or step back 400,000 years in time at one of the region’s many prehistoric sites. 90% of these tourist attractions are to be found less than 25 minutes from the campsite!

The Parc du Bournat sets out to recreate a typical village day in Périgord in 1900. Complete with workshops and old-fashioned fair rides, this unusual theme park offers the chance to step back in time.
Don’t miss
Périgord Noir is famed for its prehistoric and medieval sites. It boasts a host of châteaux and gardens to visit and caves to explore as well as enticing rivers for a refreshing dip, and its famed local cuisine.
Walking/cycling route
The Boucle du Polissoir is a stunning walk for all the family that leaves from the campsite. A 6km loop through the Forêt de Campagne takes in a château and its gardens, some ancient cave dwellings, a Neolithic sharpening stone and a viewpoint over the Vézère valley.
Driving route
We are close to both the Vézere and the Dordogne, two magnificent rivers that offer excellent routes for exploring the picturesque local villages including Beynac, la Roque-Gageac, Saint-Léon-sur-Vèzère and Montignac, not to mention Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil and Sarlat-la-Canéda.
