The Île de Ré, a real treasure island... La Flotte en Ré is a typical Atlantic fishing village with narrow, wallflowerlined streets, brightly painted shutters, a port filled with white-sailed boats and a green-capped lighthouse. Close to the star-shaped citadel at St-Martin-de-Ré and just 900 m from the long, sandy Plage de l’Arnérault, the Bel Air makes an ideal base for exploring the island on foot, by bike or by boat.

Camille's campsite has been awarded the Green Key label, so you'll find all the eco-friendly measures you would expect, including waste management with composting and controlled watering.

But soft mobility is also greatly encouraged here, with on-site bike hire and cycle paths you can join in front of the campsite.

We have returned here for the forth year on the trot, it is an excellent campsite and the surrounding bike rides and towns are ideal. If you want to chill out this is a definate goto place
