Set between Rouergue and Quercy on the borders of the Aveyron and the Lot, the campsite nestles on the shores of a lake, popular with birds and anglers alike, and is surrounded by gently rolling hills, oak woods, dolmens and beautiful old stone houses. Onsite you can enjoy the covered pool and giant water slides while the little ones play with the water games in our large paddling pool. Further afield, Aveyron offers a host of things to see and do including châteaux, abbeys and picturesque cliff-top villages and bustling local markets, the ideal place to sample the delicious local fare.

Take the 20-minute drive to the little village of Cajarc where you can wander through the narrow streets and admire its heritage sites including the elegant ironwork bridge that spans the River Lot. It also offers a small lake with water sports facilities.

A short 10-minute drive from the campsite, the former royal bastide of Villefranche-de-Rouergue contains various historic monuments including the Collegiate Church of Our Lady in the Place Notre-Dame. La Forteresse de Najac, just 40 min from the site, boasts two fine towers set on a rocky outcrop above the River Aveyron. Saint-Cirq-Lapopie (30 min), elected one of France’s most beautiful villages, clings to the limestone bluffs above the Lot valley.
Walking/cycling route
Walk or cycle around the Lac de Bannac and visit the bird observatory or to the fortified Abbaye de Loc-Dieu (5km) where you can visit the grounds and take a guided tour of the buildings.
Driving route
Drive out to the Saut de la Mounine viewpoint at Saujac, then on to Foissac with its prehistoric cave (1h guided tour), before returning via the old bastide town of Villeneuve.
