The Cascade du Saut de la Truite or “Trout’s Leap Waterfall” is reached by a picturesque track bordered by low stone walls in Graval Woods in Brezons. Here a stream, the Livernade, falls some 28m, forming a lovely waterfall which the trout have to negotiate as they move upstream. Length: 40 minutes return trip.

The prehistoric village of Bonnesstrade provides a pocket history of Palaeolithic, Neolithic,bronze and iron age France (10 km). Explore the La Truyère Gorges by canoe on the Lac de Lanau, 13km of stunning scenery with a picnic on one of its islands.
