In Finistère, Pointe de la Torche is a Breton surf spot that has taken on an almost legendary status. The strangely named "Bud Bud" is renowned for its powerful waves and is one of the best surf spots in the Vendée. Finally, there are also exciting surfing options in Etretat in Normandy. Since it's located just below the famous arch, this surfing haven is great for both its waves and its stunning natural beauty.
Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned surfer, you'll find clubs and surf schools near your campsite where you can take lessons or courses. If you prefer to travel light, you can even rent all the equipment you need right on the beach.
