Take a walk through the Parc de Rohannec'h de Saint-Brieuc (English style garden with villa constructed in 1900 – the ground floor is open in the summer). Follow the path down to the port of Le Légué (500m) and return via the Gouédic valley.

Don’t miss
The Saint Brieuc National Nature Reserve – 8 km. With the fifth largest tidal range in the world, the bay provides a wonderful natural habitat for flora and fauna. A stopping off point for migrating birds from October to March, in spring and summer it is nesting species which fill the coves, salt meadows and mudflats along the shorelines at Langueux and Yffiniac. The Maison de la Baie observatory in Hillion on the GR 34 coastal path makes a great spot for bird watching. The île de Bréhat (50km), Cape Fréhel (70km) and the “Pink Granite Coast” from Bréhat to Trégastel (80km).
Walking/cycling route
A half-day cycle ride to explore the historical centre of Saint-Brieuc at the foot of Cathédrale Saint-Etienne. The oldest houses in the town are those along the Rue Fardel, the Rue Quinquaine and the Place du Martray. Don’t miss the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire.
Driving route
Leaving the centre of town by car, follow signs to the port of Le Légué (ship owners’ houses, marina, floating museum of wooden toys, pottery gallery, traditional boats). Then take the coast road as far as the Pointe du Roselier which offers wonderful views over Saint-Brieuc bay, the Pointe de Pordic headland and the Plage des Rosaires.
