Welcome to the Vallée d’Auzat and Vicdessos Outdoor Activities Centre in the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park. This family-friendly site set on the banks of a river offers a range of outdoor activities all year round, either on site or close by, including walking, canyoning, conventional and via ferrata climbing, woodland adventure courses, paragliding, potholing, canoeing and skiing. The valley, dominated by the towering Pic du Moncalm, leads right up to the Andorran border and is great for both family walks and more demanding climbs. For those with a less energetic disposition, the region also promises a wealth of other things to do and see including caves, châteaux, museums and spas. As you will see, Ariège is a world of its own, characterised by traditional mountain hospitality.
With stunning views over the Vicdessos valley, the site’s excellent location provides access to a number of outdoor activities, whatever the season, as well as making a great base for exploring the wealth of historic and other sites the Ariège has to offer.
