Set in the heart of the Somme Estuary, Les Aubépines makes the ideal holiday destination for fans of cycling. It offers over 130km of cycle paths, one of which runs right alongside the campsite, and there is also a greenway in close proximity. What better way to explore the splendid local countryside and its rich architectural and cultural heritage? With its bays, cliffs and woodlands, the landscapes of the Somme never cease to delight and surprise.

Sea-walking

Located in the heart of the Somme Estuary, Les Aubépines promises a holiday close to the water and the chance to take to the sea in a pirogue or try something new in the form of coastal “sea-walking”. Original, fun and suitable for all the family, these activities offer the perfect way to explore the local area. You can also spend some time at the campsite in the warm waters of our covered pool complete with water games or take a walk around Le Crotoy Bay or along the beaches of the English Channel, you feet on the sand and your head in the stars.

Discovering the Baie de Somme

How can you spend your holidays at Camping Les Aubépines without enjoying the exceptional natural sites that surround it? Don't miss out on a nature hike in the Baie de Somme. The coastal and desert landscapes will enchant you. You are in close proximity to the Marquenterre Park. Take advantage of it! And to discover the region in a different way, embark on a journey from the past aboard the Baie de Somme railway. Your adventure begins at the Crotoy station!

Parc de Bagatelle

The Parc de Bagatelle is a family-friendly amusement park situated close to Le Touquet and just 30 minutes from the campsite. It offers thrills and spills with over 40 attractions and shows for all the family and is divided into three different worlds: Baggy Land, great fun on a small scale for the youngest visitors, Baggy Family with its rides and shows for all the family, and Baggy Fun offering thrills and spills for the more daring amongst you. Isabelle and Cédric's campsite has held the Green Key label since 2022 because they are both committed to an environmentally and socially responsible approach:

They remind people of the eco-friendly things they should do during their stay (saving energy, not wasting water, waste sorting, etc.).
They have installed recycling bins for plastic, cardboard and metal in all accommodation to encourage waste sorting as far as possible
They support the local economy by offering products from local producers at the grocery shop
They encourage soft mobility with free cycling days to explore the Somme Bay
Installation of rainwater collectors.

It was brilliant as it normally is. Only comment would be, is the shower nozzles are way too high up and spray the cubicle not the person, so could do with better shower heads lower down.

Good experience. A little more lighting at night and it would be advisable to keep both toilet blocks open because the distance from pitch 'W' to the block near the swimming pool is really far.
