Walking/cycling route
Just 2km from the campsite, the Provencal village of Belgentier sits alongside the River Gapeau. This lovely little village with its narrow cobbled streets, old houses and doors framed by sculpted stones has a charm all of its own. As you amble through the village, admire the many lavoirs and fountains, the splendid wall fresco depicting a visit from Louis XIV, the Château de Pereisc and the magnificent giant sequoia, nearly 7 yards round and several centuries old.
