Well worth a visit Nearby Camping Le Conleau Brittany
The Gulf of Morbihan, a veritable inland sea, and a boat trip to one of its many beautiful islands: Île aux Moines, Île d’Arz, Belle-Île, Houat or Hoëdic.
Something different
The fascinating spectacle offered by the Île de Berder. Accessible by foot at low tide, it gradually becomes an island as the sea rises (14 km).
Don’t miss
The Gulf of Morbihan, a veritable inland sea with a landscape which changes in time with the tides and seasons. The many islands which you can explore by boat from the ferry port in Vannes. They include the Île aux Moines, the Île d’Arz, Belle-Ile, the Île d’Houat and the Île d’Hoëdic.
Walking/cycling route
Cycle to Port-Anna (home to Brittany’s famous “sinagot” sailing boats) and along the coast of the Gulf of Morbihan through Séné where you can stop and savour the delicious seafood, visit the nature reserve or go down to the beach.
Driving route
To the west: Drive along the “côte sauvage” of the Quiberon Penisula, stopping to watch the sailing boats and the oyster farmers working in the waters of La Trinité-sur-Mer before visiting the magnificent megaliths of Carnac. To finish off, why not try some oysters in the old part of Saint-Goustan (Auray). To the south: Visit the Rhuys Peninsula and Port-Navalo before returning via the Vilaine Estuary and La Roche-Bernard.
