Set in the heart of the Loire valley amid 11 acres of parkland and bordered on either side by the river Loire, the campsite makes a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Just 15 minutes’ walk from the historic centre of Saumur with its rich, year-round programme of cultural and artistic events, you’re also ideally placed to visit the château, one of the most emblematic in the Loire valley, or marvel at the riders of the famous Cadre Noir.
