Campsites in France to remain closed until 15 April
The French government has announced that campsites in France will remain closed until 15 April 2020. At Flower, we understand this decision and support the measures that are being taken to halt the spread of coronavirus in France and the rest of Europe. It is clear that we are, for the moment, unable to guarantee the health and safety of customers travelling to our campsites on holiday.
Given the way the epidemic is currently spreading, it is also possible that our campsites will be required to make further changes to their arrangements as the situation develops. We will keep you up to date with these changes via this web page.
1) If you made your booking before 15 March 2020 and you took out our “Campez Couvert” insurance policy at the time of booking:
If you are unable to re-book for a later date at your campsite, your cancellation costs will be covered by the insurance policy. As your campsite is subject to official confinement measures, Campez Couvert will refund the cost of your booking under its “site ban” (interdiction de site) cover, which applies in case of epidemics. To make a claim, please fill in the claim form, which you can complete here: https://www.declare.fr/index/?&lang=en.
2) If you did not take out our “Campez Couvert” insurance policy when you made your booking:
Those of you who are not covered under our policy will be issued with a credit note for the amount already paid towards your booking. You will be able to use this credit note to make a new booking at the same campsite, subject to availability. To request your credit note, simply contact your campsite by email or telephone.
3) If you used your My Flower loyalty points when you made your booking:
• If you used your My Flower points on a holiday that is ultimately cancelled, please write to us as the following address so that we can re-credit them to your account: firstname.lastname@example.org.
• If you used your My Flower points for a holiday that is ultimately postponed, there’s no change. Your points will figure on the credit note sent to you by your campsite – see 2) above.
Our campsites may be required to make further changes to their opening dates as the situation develops. We are doing everything we can to keep you informed and offer the appropriate help and advice.
Whatever happens, the conditions under which you can change or cancel your booking are governed by the terms of Flower campsites’ General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Cancellation Insurance policies.
If you have any questions about your booking, please contact your campsite directly. You will find the relevant telephone numbers and email addresses on the Practical Information tab for the relevant campsite on our website at flowercampings.com.
We apologise for the inconvenience this will cause everyone who is affected and hope you understand that the current measures have been taken in the interests of all our customers and staff. Please follow the health recommendations in your area and help fight the epidemic.
Above all, look after yourselves and your loved ones.
