Book your campsite in France

Coronavirus (COVID-19) information page

Page updated on the 20/05/2020 at 5:00 pm

Dear Customers,

Our campsites currently remain closed as part of the national effort to slow down the spread of the COVID-19 epidemic. By shutting down and staying at home we have all – managers, staff and holidaymakers alike – played our part in protecting the health of family and friends. The lockdown is now being progressively eased in France but the coronavirus has left its mark and we need to stay alert to its dangers.

The French government has now decided that it is safe for tourists to holiday in France. This means that those of us who enjoy the chance to meet new people and explore the beautiful French countryside can now plan for the future with confidence.

Given the current situation, we have taken a certain number of measures concerning:

  • Opening dates: from 2 June 2020
Our campsites are in the process of setting their individual opening dates based on government decisions and their ability to welcome guests in the best possible conditions. They will let you know as soon as they have any concrete information. In the meantime, why not follow your favourite campsite on Facebook to make sure you’re one of the first to get the good news.
  • Flower Safe+ Health and Hygiene Charter
Specific to Flower and its campsites, this charter has been drawn up in partnership with a team of medical and health risk prevention experts. It sets out the French government’s anti-coronavirus measures and recommendations together with a number of additional sets of specific instructions that go beyond the official guidelines in order to ensure your safety. Take a look at the Flower Safe+ Health and Hygiene Charter.
  • Availability of leisure facilities and other services at our campsites
Our swimming and paddling pools, cafes and restaurants, activities and other entertainment will all be open but – as you would expect – with a certain number of changes including longer opening times, smaller groups, social distancing rules, etc. A few simple rules to guarantee a great holiday and peace of mind for everyone.
  • Customers whose holidays have been cancelled
In line with French legislation (Order No. 2020-315 of 25 March 2020), our campsites are offering you the chance to rebook your holiday at a later date or a credit note. Please contact the campsite which took your original booking to make the necessary arrangements.

Given the extraordinary nature of the crisis, these arrangements may well change as the situation develops.

This is a very difficult time for everyone and we would like to thank you for booking a holiday with us, whether it has been cancelled, rearranged or still to happen. We are aware of the trust you have placed in us and are working hard to prepare all our campsites to welcome visitors as soon as this becomes possible.

Just like our mascot Mister Flower, who is eagerly awaiting the arrival of your children, we can't wait to be part of your next great holiday experience.

In the meantime, look after yourselves, your families and friends. Stay at home and console yourself with the thought of your next Flower holiday.

We look forward to seeing you somewhere in France very soon.

The Flower Team
