Set in the heart of the UNESCO Haute Provence Geopark, this small but spacious site offers a warm, family-friendly welcome in lovely, natural surrounding. There’s plenty to do on site with the heated pool and water slide, and a river. If you’re looking for a challenge, the nearby Massif des Monges is great for walking and mountain biking or you can go canyoning and try out the via ferrata at the waterfalls just 15 min. from the site. And if you prefer a little rest and relaxation, you can just sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet, take a dip or sunbathe. The ideal holiday setting amid the mountains of Haute Provence…

Things to see, things to do, nearby

Lac des Monges

If you want to explore the region on foot, head to the Lac des Monges. From here, you'll have an exceptional view of the Massif de Monges and its valleys. You can also get there by car if you prefer.

Discover the region

Explore the borders of the Alpine and Provençal landscapes. Travelling by car, you can visit the Serre-Ponçon lake, with its dam and fun watersports, to the north. Alternatively, head south to discover Sisteron and its citadel, followed by some typical Provençal villages and finally the plateau of Valensole. Here you can swim in the lake of Sainte Croix.

Gourmet getaway by bike

From the campsite, head in the direction of Forest-Lacour. You can then visit the GAEC du Sasse, where saffron is produced. Continue in the direction of Bayons, to see the Adoux Products: here you will find distillation of essential oils, plant syrup, jams, etc. Now a more challenging part of the ride awaits you, as you head to the Tourniquets de Bayons, with 284m of altitude difference. From there, you can discover a lamb farm at the Col des Sagnes, then an artisanal delicatessen workshop in Turrier, and the Chalet de la Ruche with its regional products in Cairo. Finally, take the road to La Motte-du-Caire and return to Clamensane. In total, the loop runs for 42 km.
