The campsite is located within a leisure and water sports park set around a lake where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and nearby fishing lake whilst your kids have fun in the lake with its diving board and water slide. Further afield, you can visit the châteaux and churches of Haute-Vienne and Limoges, France’s porcelain, enamel and stained glass capital where modern creativity meets with age-old tradition.

In a quiet, countryside setting close to local shops, the lake offers a wide range of activities including swimming and sunbathing, fishing, picnics, entertainment and local fêtes which enliven the park opposite the campsite.

Sentiers des Carrières

Sentiers des Carrières – A 27 km sign-posted circuit that you can travel on foot, on horseback or by bicycle (shorter routes also available). The walk takes in Saint-Hilaire-les-Places, the village of Le Vieux Saint-Hilaire and various other hamlets, passing through woodland and along country lanes.

Château de Lastours

Château de Lastours – Visit the château during the day or take one of the organised night-time "Images, Torches et Lumières" tours with medieval characters to show around and explain their world and costumes.

Terra Aventura

Terra Aventura adventure course in Saint-Hilaire (the Limousin’s very own version of geo-caching) – Have fun and explore Saint-Hilaire-les-Places thanks to this unusual treasure hunt as you travel the length and breadth of the commune in a bid to answer a set of riddles which, once solved, will lead you to the cache – the treasure. On the way, stop at one or two of the local producers. Approx. 1h30. Suitable for families/all ages.

It was wonderful! Specially the activities for kids.

The place is nice and calm. The sanitary can be cleaner. There is no toilet paper. There is lighting on the site.

Lovely site. Great access to the lake. The kids really enjoyed the diving platform. It was a shame the lake slide wasnt open but it was still lovely to visit. The park was great for the kids.
