Set in the heart of the lovely Saint-Tropez peninsula, the campsite is ideally placed for visiting this lively area. Set amid woodland, and therefore shady and quiet, the campsite offers a unique atmosphere thanks to the family activities organised throughout the season. Just a stone’s throw from the site you can explore the unspoilt villages of Ramatuelle and Gassin, take a trip to the star-studded town of Saint-Tropez or spend an afternoon lazing on Pampelonne beach. Walking/cycling route
The Two Headlands walk from L'Escalet beach takes you along the sea shore before returning via the Celliers de Ramatuelle wine cellars for a local wine tasting (2h30).
Driving route
Take a tour of the ramparts at the village of Gassin, then drive along the Route des Moulins de Paillas with a stop at the windmill for a picnic or to photograph the stunning view of the Iles d'Or. Then head down to Ramatuelle where you can visit the village and sample some typical Provencal fare at an “oil bar” or with an aperitif on the famed Place de l'Ormeau.
