Camping Le Peyrelade - See the white water and majestic gorges of the Tarn.

The river cliffs of the Grandes Causses Natural Park dominate this part of the river where the magnificent Tarn gorges offer a wealth of opportunities for walking. The long beach is ideal for swimming, fishing and white water sports. The campsite also boasts a heated pool, a programme of activities for the kids and evening entertainments including singers, musicians and magic shows.

Water sports

Nestling in the verdant countryside at the gateway to the Tarn gorges, this riverside site is a great base for a camping holiday with family or friends in the great outdoors. It offers canoe rental by the day and half day and two canoeing courses. The first, just 5km long, provides a great introduction to the sport. The second, covering a distance of 17km, is perfect for the more adventurous. Whatever your level of fitness and experience, there’s no better way to explore the River Tarn and its beautiful valley. Tarn gorges

The Tarn gorges form a spectacular 43 km long canyon dotted with lovely villages and hamlets (5 km). “The Gorges of the Tarn and the Jonte”. A 130 km tour. Imposing landscapes of the Gorges and Ce?vennes. Worth visiting: Belve?de?re des Vautours, the Aven Armand and Dargilan caves.

Millau

The night market in nearby Millau where you can savour the local produce al fresco to the sound of local musicians - every Monday evening in July and August.

A very picturesque site. We had a very friendly welcoming. The site was clean, the pitches were a good size. Toilet block was immaculate and the pool was fabulous. No negatives. Full marks.
