Camping Les Nauves - A remarkable garden in the Dordogne.

Set in more than 12 acres of beautiful Périgord Noir countryside, this campsite is the ideal base for visiting the châteaux of the Dordogne Valley, the world famous prehistoric caves at Lascaux, the mediaeval towns of Sarlat and Belvès or the picturesque walled village of Monpazier. It also boasts a swimming pool, separate paddling pool, mini farm, children’s activities and a wonderful restaurant and snack bar where you can build up your strength before taking a walk or horse ride from the campsite.

Wine route

Every Tuesday during the summer holidays Roselyne and Régis invite their guests to join them over a glass of their local AOC Bergerac wine. Meanwhile Fabien Castaing offers guided tours of his vineyard, Le Moulin de Pouzy, one of the campsite’s local partners. You’ll find full details at reception and local wines on sale at reception and in the shop and bar/restaurant.

Circuit des Bastides

Drive the “Circuit des Bastides” and explore the walled villages and towns of Monpazier, Cadouin, Beaumont du Périgord, Domme, La Roque-Gageac, and many more (approx. 120 km round trip).

Sarlat

Sarlat, the capital of the Périgord Noir, a real architectural gem with its many historical and other listed sites.

Horse riding

Hike or horse-ride along the viaducts trail setting off from the campsite. Visit the 1st curved railway viaduct, a 13th century Roman church and a 17th century manor.
